Become A USA Supplier-Partner

Successfully operating a nuclear power station in today’s competitive environment demands an efficient and reliable supply chain capable of delivering a wide variety of goods and services in a timely manner, at competitive prices and free of discrepancies. At USA, we seek to develop long-term relationships with supplier partners committed to transparency, working together to cut costs and a win-win approach that drives maximum benefit to our member stations while building the supplier’s business across our fleet.

If you are interested in partnering with us, please complete and submit the form below. We will consider your company for addition to our bid list in the event the need arises for the goods or services you provide.

Thank you – we sincerely appreciate your interest!

  • Hard data tracking of member spend and savings through USA Spend & Savings Reporting module allows USA suppliers to increase awareness among non-using USA members of your current utilization and customer satisfaction of other USA members already purchasing your products and/or services and evidence your ties and reputation within the nuclear industry.
  • USA support, resources, and neutral forum available for addressing and resolving questions and issues that arise between member utilities and the supplier to address and resolve problems more easily and quickly.

Qualifications for Being a USA Supplier-Partner
  • Formal contract fully executed by Utilities Service Alliance, Inc. and supplier organization that offers a variety of volume incentives to ALL USA Members including, but not limited to:

    • First-Cost Savings: Discounts resulting in lower price than USA Member would otherwise receive from supplier
    • Volume incentive rebate: Rebates are paid annually by supplier-partners to USA who then distributes rebate funds to sites according to site utilization of supplier-partner agreement.
    • TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) Savings: The total financial impact of doing business with your organization instead of the status quo or your competition. TCO aims to monetize across the full lifecycle the intangible value of working with your organization to solve problems. Example: doing a reverse engineering or commercial grade dedication project to avoid an expensive engineering modification. TCO savings can be calculated in a variety of categories, including reduced dose, cost avoidance, critical path time savings, etc. Here’s where you can monetize your differentiator, i.e. Reduce outage duration by X% resulting in $Y savings this fiscal year.
  • Becoming a Supplier-Partner requires an agent from your organization to upload spend, first-cost savings, TCO savings and spend qualified for rebate data into our savings database on an annual and semiannual basis.
  • Supplier-Partners must have verified experience serving the nuclear power industry in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and guidelines.
  • Supplier-Partners must engage with the USA Supplier Performance team as necessary to ensure less than a 2% deficiency rate to maintain USA Supplier-Partner status.
  • There is no annual fee to be a Supplier-Partner. However, we do highly encourage supplier-partners to make investments in travel and conference participation, including but not limited to:

    • Attending 3-4 Supplier Fairs onsite at Nuclear Power Plants annually
    • Attending January Winter Conference
    • Attending June Executive Summit
    • Exhibiting at the June Executive Summit Supplier Showcase
    • Attending Supplier Fairs held at Member Sites (rotate between members for 3-4 Supplier Fairs annually)
    • Regular onsite visits to USA Members
    • Regular Key Supplier Meetings with USA Leadership Team re: new products, initiatives, revenue opportunities and areas for improvement
