USA Update First Quarter 2026

As we begin 2026, Utilities Service Alliance (USA) is building strong momentum around our mission to drive performance excellence, strengthen collaboration, and deliver measurable value to our members and supplier partners. This year is already shaping up to be one of alignment, innovation, and elevated impact across our USA members and supplier partners.

2026 Strategic Priorities

In addition to our world class safety culture assessments planned in 2026 at both members, supplier partners and non-member utilities, a central focus for 2026 is the advancement of Project Maximum Value, led by our Executive Director of Supply Chain, Tami Weber. This initiative is designed to fully optimize the value of USA’s supplier agreements by increasing utilization, improving visibility, and ensuring our members are capturing the full economic and strategic benefits available through our alliance.

Project Maximum Value represents a critical step forward in strengthening the partnership between utilities and suppliers—ensuring that collaboration translates directly into performance improvement, cost efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

In parallel, we are advancing our Equipment Reliability Initiative, led by Clint Carter, VP of Nuclear Innovation and Industry Relations which officially launched in last year. This effort is focused on improving fleet-wide reliability through enhanced data sharing, targeted best practices, and coordinated support among members. Early engagement has been strong, and we are already seeing meaningful collaboration that will drive improved station performance across the fleet.

Winter Conference Success – Palm Desert

In January, USA hosted its Member and Supplier Partner Winter Conference in Palm Desert, California, which achieved the highest attendee ratings in the history of the event. This conference exemplified the power of direct engagement between utilities and supplier partners. Attendees had meaningful opportunities to strengthen existing relationships, expand awareness and usage of USA agreements, and identify new opportunities for collaboration and value creation. The overwhelmingly positive feedback reinforces the importance of these forums in driving alignment and accelerating results across our network.

Welcoming New Supplier Partners

We are pleased to welcome two new supplier partners to the USA network: Blue Wave AI Labs and Enercon! Both organizations bring strong capabilities and industry expertise that will further enhance the value delivered to our members. We look forward to their active engagement and contributions across USA programs and initiatives.
