USA 2021 Optimizer Award Announced

STP received Utilities Service Alliance’s Optimizer Award at the 2021 USA Executive Summit last month. During calendar year 2021, STP saved more than $7.5 million through use of USA’s programs and contracts while amassing a remarkable $46.92 return on each dollar of their Alliance membership investment! “STP has done a great job taking advantage of USA savings opportunities that come their way. Their support is unwavering, from Executive Vice-President and CAO, Aldo Capristo serving as vice-chair of USA to Supply Chain Manager, Darell Montgomery as utility team lead for supply chain management, and many others throughout the organization. That’s the type of commitment that leads to the great results STP has achieved,” said John Christensen, President and CEO of USA. “Congratulations to everyone at STP for earning this award.”

STP saved $1.44 million through the USA programs and projects including our Valve Program, Personnel Sharing, Training Project and more. They achieved an additional $6.23 million savings using the USA group-purchasing agreements. “We are so proud to have received this award and enthusiastic, as always, about the value that our USA membership provides,” said Aldo Capristo, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for STP. “Our total savings last year amounted to over $7.5 Million thanks to the efforts of our hard-working team members and leaders. USA has been an excellent partner in our efforts to discover efficiencies in our business for many years and we will strive to remain a leader in leveraging the value of USA for STP.”
