During the recent Utilities Service Alliance (USA) 2019 Executive Summit hosted in San Antonio, TX, its Board of Directors announced the election of Vice Chairman Ken Peters, Chief Nuclear Officer at Luminant Generating Company’s Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant.  Mr. Peters will serve a two-year term, effective immediately.

“USA is honored to have Ken agree to continue in his role of Vice Chair for the next two years,” said USA President & CEO John Christensen. “Ken’s input and advice has already been felt by the USA team and I am excited to work with him in our pursuit of Simple, Cost-Effective Excellence.”

USA is a not-for-profit cooperative headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, designed to facilitate collaboration among its member utilities. Together, it works to reduce operating and maintenance costs, improve safety and performance, and provide innovation and leadership within the nuclear power industry.
