The 2023 USA Nuclear Generator & Supplier Executive Summit was held June 27 – 30, just a stone’s throw from the sand in “Surf City, USA,” Huntington Beach, California.  368 attendees and guests gathered for an outstanding lineup of industry experts presenting around the theme “Excellence and Innovation – Keeping the Current Fleet Viable.” Attendees were treated to an array of fascinating presentations and helpful information, all focused on sustaining and optimizing our precious fleet of plants.  In addition, several key USA functional teams took the opportunity to conduct business meetings prior to the General Session, including Advanced Remote Monitoring, Board of Directors, Personnel Sharing, Site Reps and Supply Chain Management.  The Summit also featured our traditional Supplier Solutions Showcase, an integrated tradeshow with 50 top industry suppliers exhibiting products, services and ideas available to help sustain the high levels of safe, operational excellence and strong economic performance USA members have long enjoyed.

Supplier of the Year awards for 2022 were presented to our top Supplier-Partners, as voted on by USA members.  Always extremely competitive, winners are indeed the “best of the best” in our industry. Frham Safety Products took home the honors for Materials while Imperia Engineering Partners captured Supplier of the Year for Services.  Congratulations to all!  We are very proud of all our suppliers and cannot overstate the importance of the contributions they make and the value they bring to USA members on a day-in and day-out basis.

We wrapped up the Summit with our traditional team-building activities and closing banquet/dinner dance. Near the close of the evening a donation was made to our Chairman’s Charity recipient, Children of Fallen Patriots on behalf of the wonderful generosity and kindness of our attendees and guests. It was a great way to cap off an extraordinary week!

As always, we conducted a conference survey to obtain feedback and suggestions for improvement from our attendees.  One question we always hone in on is “How would you rate the overall value of this conference for your time and money?” For 2023, that score was 4.64 out of 5 (with 5 being best)!  With that kind of response, we’ll keep hosting and hope to see you at the 2024 Executive Summit in Naples, Florida on June 25-28, 2024!
