***Breaking News*** – Bella selected to replace Vickery as USA Director – Procurement Systems
USA is excited to announce that Shari Bella has been selected to serve as its next Director–Procurement Systems. Shari replaces Brad Vickery, who has been in the position since November 2019.
In this role, Shari will report to John Christensen, USA’s President & CEO. She will be responsible for identifying and driving cost-savings strategies and opportunities across the USA fleet.
“I’m excited to make this announcement and to welcome Shari to the USA team,” said John. “Shari has a proven track record of excellence in everything she has been associated with and we are lucky to have her experience and leadership in this key position. I know Talen will miss her very much, but she will not be far away as she continues her career with USA. Shari will be joining us in Huntington Beach next week, and we hope you all get a chance to meet her and welcome her to the team!”

Prior to joining USA, Shari served Talen Energy at the Susquehanna Nuclear station for twenty years within the Finance department most recently as Director – Nuclear Finance. Shari played a key role in driving Susquehanna Nuclear to top decile financial performance by identifying and executing cost reduction opportunities while developing long range plans to ensure safe and reliable operation of assets.
Prior to joining Susquehanna, Shari was the Director, Capital and Plant Accounting for Commonwealth Telephone (now Frontier Communications) and worked for Deloitte & Touche as a Staff II Accountant.
Shari holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting from the University of Scranton.
Shari lives in Exeter, Pennsylvania with her husband Jason. Together they have two sons, Justin and Ryan.
